ⓘ Muggins Mountains

The Muggins Mountains is a mountain range in southwest Arizona east of Yuma, Arizona, northeast of the Gila Mountains, and east of the Laguna Mountains. The Castle Dome Mountains lie to the northeast across the broad Castle Dome Plain. The Muggins Mountains Wilderness occupies the southwest portion of the range.

In the Muggins mountains are a triangular block of about 10 miles 16 km to the SW and SE sides and 14 mi 23 km on the North side. Northern part of the ridge has two high peaks of the range: the nameless in the North-West 1.908 feet 582 m and the North-East, Red bluff mountain at 1.905 feet 581 m. the Northern range in the range of Hume.

The southern portion of the spectrum bordered on the South-East along the agricultural valley Mohawk valley and the Gila river, in the South-East dome and the North-flowing rural economy of the valley of the Gila river. Muggins mountains wilderness to the South-West and the dome of the boundaries of the valley. Two vertices are in the wilderness, Muggins peak at 1.424 legs 434 m in the South-East, and the Klothos Temple at the center of the West at 1.666 feet 508 m.

There are plains, plateaus and hills between the two Northern peaks in the range of Hume. Small alluvial fans that drain North of the perimeter. Unnamed mountains to the North-West is separated from the southern mountain block to the West flows Vinegaroon wash. Large visible cone of that drains the Central Muggins mountains on the way Vinegaroon wash sits in the North-West range can be seen at us 95 4 miles to the West.

Several washes drain to the South-West and the Muggins mountains wilderness, including mount washing, two water tanks and wash Muggins wash all drain South-West to North-East the foothills of the dome valley. Morgan wash drains the South-Eastern border of the desert to the South-East to the valley of the Mohawk.
